DESCRIPTION:The Akron Big Band is a 19-piece\, traditionally formatted big band playing music from the 1920s through modern time. \nThe band has grown from a community-based recreational ensemble to a more premiere band playing over a dozen gigs a year primarily in Northeast Ohio. \nOur music ranges from Basie\, Kenton\, and Sinatra to the Tower of Power and the Gordon Goodwin Big Phat Band.
