The purposes for which the corporation is formed are to advance, encourage, and promote the industrial, economic, commercial, and civic development of the City of Massillon, Ohio. Established in 1971, the Community Improvement Corporation of Massillon is the designated agency of the City of Massillon for economic development purposes in accordance with Chapter 1724 of the Ohio Revised Code.
